From the Album 'December Getaway' the track 'Silence (for your eyes)' by Les Antonymes is now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: Jan 19, 2026
It wasn't the first time they gathered at the House. Or the last. It was an evening in December. It was cold. It was damp. It hadn't snowed. The piano was there, as always, in the studio, by the drums. Olivier played a few notes, like he sometimes does. To regain a semblance of composure between two bouts of drumming. Like David sometimes uses his voice, when he isn't playing bass, or Fred tries out a new toy, when he isn't processing field recordings.
Nina was the last to arrive. She'd brought a guitar, and she sang a little, adding an unexpected touch of blue to our soundscapes. As for Antonin, well, he's ALWAYS there – I mean it is HIS House after all. He dabbled with his groovebox, like he usually does, but more discreetly this time. He was more involved with editing and mixing, this time. The whole session amounted to almost two hours. It took him a year to extract the essence from it and bring it down to three pieces.
This is what came out from that session, back when it was damp, and cold, but it hadn't snowed. Three wandering meditations through melancholic landscapes. This is for you. This is our 'December Getaway'.
Track list:
1. Out (of the blue) 04:22
2. Silence (for your eyes) 08:28
3. In (a nutshell) 08:33
Les Antonymes
Les Antonymes is a variable-geometry band that sprung fully clad from Antonin De Bemels' mind and his desire to work on his compositions and improvisation frameworks with different musicians. You can expect craggy soundscapes, meandering melodies, and the occasional groove to stir things up a bit (although you won't know which foot to dance on).
Recurring members outside Antonin (groovebox) are Frederic Aerden (processed field recordings), Olivier Taskin (drums) and David Christophe (bass).
December (getaway) is their 7th EP to date. And their debut LP, En T, is scheduled for release in 2026.
