Headphone Candy is a German duo creating a distinctive blend of electronic jazz, nu-jazz, trip-hop and downbeat. Their music is built from the interplay of trumpet (Raphael Sprenger), bass (Micha Schäfers) and carefully crafted electronic elements, forming atmospheric soundscapes shaped by a shared passion for jazz and electronic music.

The project began in 2021 with the release of their first track “Aurora”. Initially conceived as a home-studio pastime during the COVID-19 pandemic, Headphone Candy quickly evolved into a fully formed band. Since then, they have released several tracks and performed at various concerts, steadily developing a warm, cinematic, and rhythm-based sound.

Beyond their own compositions, the duo also reimagines works by artists like Björk, Bill Withers, and Tears for Fears, transforming them into unique interpretations in the characteristic “Headphone Candy sound.”

Inner Universe Pt.4 is a part of a musical trance journey composed and produced by german composer Mitsch Kohn. The song is an accompaniment for the journey into the inner worlds. It leads into spaces of inner peace and harmony, but can also be taken as an accompany to travel to previously unexplored spaces and spheres in order to feel the unfelt, to recognize the unrecognized, to deal with unfinished business and to be able to let go of what has been held on to until now.

It is a journey into heightened states of consciousness in order to meet oneself from there with all that is, to see the shadows, as well as to come closer to the light, to remember the soul and thus to experience fulfillment and inner peace. The CD can be experienced as a birth process, a consciousness update into a clearer, stronger more radiant version of yourself.

The concept of the full journey was to offer a musically guided meditation into Theta state. It is picking up the listener from daily consciousness, guiding into realms of deep Theta where transformation could happen easily and then bring back to daily consciousnes again.

Shambhu Releases “Quogue Morning” – A Reflective Acoustic Meditation Inspired by Nature and Stillness

In a time marked by political tension, economic uncertainty, and the constant pull of digital noise, guitarist and composer Shambhu offers a gentle alternative: stillness.

His single, Quogue Morning, is a contemplative solo acoustic guitar piece inspired by early sunrise walks through the Quogue Wildlife Refuge on the east end of Long Island. The composition reflects the quiet clarity of those mornings — before headlines, before notifications, before the rush of the day.

“Quogue Morning came from simply walking,” Shambhu shares. “Walking before the world felt loud. Listening to birdsong. Feeling open air. Letting the nervous system settle. The music followed naturally.”

The piece unfolds with spacious phrasing, warm tone, and melodic simplicity. It captures the experience of presence — the subtle rhythm of footsteps on a wooded trail, filtered through guitar strings.

Rusan Algar

Rusan Algar is a versatile music producer whose roots lie in the deep sonic landscapes of Trap, Boom Bap, and Lo-Fi. Born in Switzerland to Portuguese parents, music was practically in his blood. His father was a DJ in the 1980s, and his brother is also a DJ. Music has always been an integral part of his life.

At the age of 12, he took guitar lessons and immersed himself in the world of rock and metal. By 18, he began experimenting with house music, blending electronic sounds with his guitar. But his musical journey was far from over. At 25, he found his true calling in urban genres in Trap, Boom Bap, and Hip-Hop.

Since 2023, he has been deeply immersed in Lo-Fi music, developing a keen sense for warm, nostalgic sounds.

Another fascinating aspect of his work is his deep interest in frequencies. For the past three years, he has been exploring sound therapy and the effects of specific frequencies, particularly 432 Hz, on human consciousness. He skillfully integrates these insights into his productions, creating music that is not only heard but felt.

His years of experience with the guitar and knowledge of piano flow seamlessly into his productions, making his music organic and distinctive. His music is more than just sound.

It’s a journey through different genres, moods, and frequencies. With every beat, every melody, and every note, he continues to write his story, a story of passion, dedication, and innovation.
